@FischerKing64 That is absolutely not true. For years the DOJ has prosecuted these cases under US law. Rarely does a case like this go to trial because they plead out and are sentenced typically to 10-20 years in prison.

@AngryCops We have been capturing and prosecuting drug runners for decades off the coast of South and Central America. People have received life sentences. Still hasn’t stopped the drug trade because the issue is that our nation has the largest demand for it.
