@JohnDalyBooks 10 years of the good life for Piper. Sounds like she hit the jackpot with you two. Those bursts of puppy energy are the best. Happy anniversary to your sweet girl
@wholemars A subscription for FSD? What a ripoff. Hopefully other carmakers step up and start including solid full self-driving capability in the actual purchase price of the vehicle.
Quick question for all the new MAGA-neocons who discovered they suddenly like Middle East wars in the past 72 hours.
Has any society ever had Democracy bombed into them?
Led Zeppelin’s “Kashmir” is built around one of Jimmy Page’s most powerful riffs: hypnotic, heavy, and instantly recognizable. I first heard it as a kid on Puff Daddy’s Godzilla soundtrack, but nothing compares to the raw force of the original.
Released in 1975 on Physical Graffiti, the song became Zeppelin’s defining epic, blending rock with Eastern influences and sweeping strings by John Paul Jones. Critics still call it one of their greatest creations.
Their 2007 Celebration Day performance, with Jason Bonham on drums, shows the band’s magic never faded. Plant’s voice is deeper, Jones’s keys soar, and that riff still hits like a thunderclap.

@varadmehta Poor LE tactics is a big issue. Tactical training teaches agents never to approach or stand in front of a vehicle. They use a "tactical L" formation (side approach at 90 degrees) to avoid the path of travel, reduce injury risk, and prevent crossfire.
@JohnDalyBooks While I was growing up, my dad was a volunteer Ski Patroller at Sandia Peak, all volunteer back then! Perks? Free skiing + a full-season tram ticket. He passed that ticket to me, and I rode the very first tram of the day countless times (it was the daily test run). Pure magic!
