This time, four months ago, It was a normal day. I was at my office getting a booklet made for each of my coworkers that would show their growth in their skills to help get them raises. 2 hours from then, I’d get a call that would shatter my world. My wife called, screaming
My heart is with the women who will experience an ectopic pregnancy and or complications during pregnancy/labor, and will not have the choice to do what’s best for them, their body and their family.
These are elementary school children who woke up this morning. Who ate their favorite cereal. Who tied their shoes in double knots. Who laughed with friends on the bus. Now more than a dozen are dead. This isn’t normal. It doesn’t have to be this way. It can’t keep being this way
if you are scared of the virus or at risk, stay home. if you think a mask will help, wear one. if you are against fall sports, don’t come. but stop taking away the freedoms of student athletes that have been working towards this season for years.
I know coaches and players all around the U.S. playing sports would abide by any health and safety rules set in place just to get the chance to play sports or even go back to school, especially seniors like myself. I can’t believe we are having to fight for sports. Sad times.
to anyone needing this tonight: God holds every tear drop, and sees every sleepless night you have. here’s your reminder that He has a beautiful blessing on the other side of the hurt. keep fighting.
