Idea to reduce the spread of unverified or false news on X:Implement automatic Grok pre-evaluation for posts that appear to be news-breaking or claim-based (e.g., using keywords like "breaking", "shocking", official names, urgent events, images/videos with claims). How it could work: Grok quickly scans high-engagement or news-like posts in real-time.
Adds a small, visible label at the top of the post, such as: Verified – Sources consistent and credible
Unverified – No reliable sources found yet
Disputed / False – Claims contradicted by evidence
Opinion / Commentary – Not presented as factual news
This label would appear within seconds, similar to Community Notes but AI-driven for speed. Benefits: Slows down viral misinformation in the critical first minutes/hours
Helps users make faster, more informed decisions before sharing
Reduces reach of unverified claims from millions to thousands
Complements (does not replace) Community Notes and human fact-checking
Grok is already integrated into X and capable of fast analysis. Making this proactive and visible by default would be a powerful step toward a healthier information environment without heavy-handed censorship. What do you think? Should labels be neutral like this, or more direct? Open to feedback.#Grok #X #Misinformation
Just joined the Pro tier @AnthropicAI! 🚀 Loving the performance, but the "Plan usage limits" are hitting a bit sooner than expected. Hope to see those limits get a bump soon so I can really dive in!
@X, @elonmusk It would be great to have a new feature that automatically marks tweets in the "Following" section as read and hides the ones I've already seen when I revisit that section.
