We’re launching the nation’s first independent Department of Digital Humanities!
As AI reshapes society, our students aren't just learning how tech works—they're learning who it serves. This department will offer the country’s first B.A. in the field. https://t.co/GQjTDYiXDj.

It’s more like New Orleans out there than Newport Beach!
Good Thursday morning everyone…
Adding insult to injury…or rather HUMIDITY to the heat!
Tropical moisture from the remnants of “Iselle” is streaming into Southern California today..
This will produce a solid cloud canopy over our region blocking out the sun which will lower ambient temperatures somewhat. However, the added humidity will still make it “feel” quite oppressive (high heat index values).
This cloud cover and high humidity made for a miserable night with some overnight temperatures remaining in the 80s:
*4am PDT*
Temperatures-
Burbank 81°
Upland 82°
San Bernardino 83°
Today will see partly to mostly cloudy skies with scattered showers or sprinkles and possible isolated thunderstorms in ALL areas…
Stay safe and plan accordingly!
10 years ago I made this page fueled by my passion for the Lakers
Since then it has allowed me to travel to over 20 countries & explore the world while never having to work a “real” job
I’m grateful to everyone who has ever read one of my posts because I’m living my dream 💜💛
Warmer ocean temperatures brought on by this season’s El Niño conditions have been bringing some subtropical species closer to Southern California shores, where they are rarely seen. Among such unusual marine visitors could be the highly-venomous yellow-bellied sea snake, scientists say. https://t.co/zjcusaBqd0
