And new, nonpublic documents cast doubt on the allegations of Russian interference that led a Romanian court to undo the country’s 2024 presidential election results.

TikTok told the European Commission that it found “no evidence” of a coordinated a Russian campaign to boost winning candidate Calin Georgescu—the key allegation made by Romanian authorities—and informed authorities of this finding.

Since then, public reporting has shown that the alleged Russian TikTok campaign was actually funded by another Romanian political party.

Why is @CG_Romania asking for the report justifying the 2024 Romanian presidential election cancellation to be sent to the USA and Israel?

Many people are criticizing him for seeking help from foreign powers or bowing to external forces.
But let's look at what he actually said on December 30, 2025:

Georgescu claims the report (used by Nicușor in European capitals) contains serious unproven accusations against him, including alleged Russian interference in his campaign and false charges of antisemitism and legionary sympathies.

He is publicly demanding that the full report be sent for independent verification to:
The United States because they have world-leading expertise in cybersecurity and detecting online foreign interference.
Israel specifically because of the antisemitism accusations!
He argues Israel, as a state profoundly affected by antisemitism historically, is the most impartial and authoritative judge to determine if his statements truly qualify as antisemitic.
He says Israel cannot be biased in this matter.

Most importantly: Georgescu publicly declares he is fully prepared to accept ALL legal consequences if this independent check by the US and Israel confirms the report's claims. If it proves the accusations are true, he will face whatever punishment follows, no excuses.

If it's proven false, it would show the election cancellation was unjustified❗️

This isn't about begging for help or surrendering sovereignty.
It's a high-stakes challenge: he's putting everything on the line, inviting the most credible external experts to examine the evidence, precisely because he believes the accusations are fabricated and the process lacked transparency.
He notes it's suspicious that the report was shared with certain European leaders (some allegedly involved in the cancellation) but NOT proactively sent to the US or Israel.

Independent journalism is silenced through arbitrary moderation, automated takedowns, and warnings issued without transparency. A video containing no insults, no threats, no inappropriate language, nothing but a factual explanation of what happened during Romania’s 2024 elections, was removed instantly. That was enough: the truth. The rest was handled by the censors.

This is no longer about protecting communities. It is about controlling narratives.

And when a country begins to suppress not hate speech, but information, not incitement, but context, not manipulation, but legitimate questions, it has already crossed the line that separates democracy from managed perception.
