“If your vote doesn’t matter, nobody would buy it. Come out in your numbers and vote en masse that’s how we make it difficult for them to rig.”
— Chief PeterSide to Nigerians
So…
Minister @DaveUmahi, you threw an open challenge to the OBidient movement when you said you would debate ‘any of them’.
Well…good sir, challenge accepted!!
I, Justin Ijeh, citizen of the federal republic, a spokesperson of the movement, promoter and advocate of good governance and a better Nigeria, will debate you.
I will defend the track record of HE @PeterObi which you have attempted to impugn with lies and distortions.
I will do this with facts and figures and documented evidence of his performance as governor of Anambara state…
And I will take YOU to task on YOUR record in public office, from your time as governor to date….as well as on the record of the administration in which you currently serve as minister, again…with facts, figures and documented evidence of my assertion that it has been a colossal failure, based on standard metrics of measuring success and effectiveness in public administration.
There will be no mud slinging, no talking down on anyone…we will focus purely on the ISSUES OF GOVERNANCE - as it should be.
@ARISEtv@The_Vimbai kindly draw the good ministers attention and let him know that his challenge has been accepted.
I will await details of date , place and time.
The clock is ticking…
Let’s do it.
PhD illiterate ogbeni dafto, @aniky_bee and others.
Alex Onyia boys all won gold medals.
We are not telling a lie to be the best, motgerfuvxer WE ARE THE BEST IN THE WORLD.
CHOKE ON IT!
From the Pan-African Mathematics Olympiad to the International STEM Olympiad, to the 20 Best Aguata Students currently at a bootcamp in Rwanda, one message is becoming increasingly clear:
Investment in education will produce globally competitive talent across IGBO Nation. ✊🏿🎉
This is Nigeria’s flag being flown in Rome.
Yet misguided elements lost to the abyss of Hades are criticizing and fighting these little ones because they are not from your tribe.
You claim to be progressives and patriots yet you hate when Nigeria does well internationally because it’s not your tribe.
Tribalism must die for we to be called a Nation.
We are currently a country not a Nation.
So if Alex Onyia didn’t decide to take these kids to Rome, you mean the world would not have seen us win gold?
Some other country would have won and we would have thought they were the brightest on earth?
Bad Governance is hiding the greatness of Nigerians.
I’ve said on previous tweets that Nigerians are the brightest and smartness people on earth. No enabling environment to showcase that brilliance.
The Igbo’s have lost over 2millions persons in that war. They were practically surrounded. A lot of agitation are expected. But Obsanjo came back to forgive & find a way foward. It is sad our people are still making reference to it.
Omo it’s a big flex that we won 3 golds!
Ndi Igbo have risen above the local shenanigans!
We are global, we have always been.
In y’all modafvkin faces.
Master Chisom Unachukwu and Anthony Iwegbu are their maths teachers.
They helped their students conquer the world.
Their schools are Evergreen Schools Enugu and Diamond Special College Owerri.
What a day!
After hours of intensive learning facilitated by Coderina Edutech - a global outfit empowering young Africans through STEAM, robotics, tech entrepreneurship, etc -, my team and I engaged the Aguata champions in a visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial.
The Memorial is a mind-blowing place of remembrance and learning, dedicated to the victims of the genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda. It commemorates the 1994 Rwandan genocide and contains the remains of over 250,000 victims of the incident.
At the memorial, our amazing Aguata champions were exposed to a powerful experience focusing on the need to promote reconciliation and building peace through education.
It has been an experience of a life time for our champions, and we are confident of their transformation to becoming globally-minded young people ready to make impacts.
For them, it is a journey from Aguata to the world.
For us, Impossibility is Nothing.
As we await the final International STEM Olympiad results, let’s revisit this powerful breakdown by Educare CEO, @winexviv, on why regional academic competitions are a game-changer.
Thank you, Tunde. I truly appreciate the kind words.
The truth is, Nigeria needs many more people solving problems from different angles. You are transforming lives through Chess in Slums. We’re working to transform lives through education. Neither mission competes with the other.
We may not always agree with everyone, but our energy is better spent building than fighting.
If more Nigerians chose to create instead of merely criticize, our country would move much faster.
Let’s keep building. The children are watching.
