Recently, a number of major dApps on Berachain such as @InfraredFinance and the upcoming @KodiakFi have been entering a pretty hot TGE phase. On that note, I’d like to quickly share another project on the Bera ecosystem that’s also very worth paying attention to @honeypotfinance, a name I personally like and one that’s been well-received by the community.

In short, Honeypot Finance is a multi-chain liquidity hub focused on building liquidity infrastructure for DeFi. Its flagship product at the moment is Honeypot Perps, an on-chain futures trading platform. Since I trade perps quite often on DEXs, my first impression was that the UI is clean, easy to use, and fast to operate. The platform supports leverage of up to 100x on popular pairs like BTC, ETH, and several tokens on BNB Chain.

According to data published directly on the website, total trading volume has approached $90 million, with certain periods seeing volume spike above $20 million in a short time, indicating that real capital is flowing in. In addition, Honeypot uses a two-layer vault model (a more stable senior vault and a higher-risk junior vault), giving LPs more flexibility to choose yields that match their risk appetite.

At the moment, the project is running the Pot Points (pre-TGE) program. Users can earn points through trading volume, providing liquidity, completing social quests on X, or via referrals. Those who want to start farming early and support the @VNBearfamily can join here:

After spending some time testing the platform with a small amount of capital, here are a few of my personal takeaways:

Pros:

- Smooth UX, fast order execution, and lower slippage compared to some smaller DEXs.

- Multi-chain support, reducing the need for manual bridging.

- Audited by Hashlock and several other firms; the team’s background is public, with a CEO/CTO experienced in DeFi.

- An active community on X and Discord, with frequent Spaces discussing real liquidity topics.

Things to consider:

- Volume is still relatively modest compared to major DEXs like Hyperliquid, so some altcoin pairs may have thinner liquidity and higher volatility.

- Trading fees, based on my experience, are around the market average, not the cheapest, and activity is currently more concentrated on BNB Chain.

Overall, Honeypot Finance is a solid project worth trying if you enjoy trading on-chain perps and want to farm points early in preparation for the upcoming TGE. As always, these are purely my personal views, and everyone should do their own thorough research before putting money in.

What’s Going On with BeraTone in the Berachain World?

If you’re into games like Stardew Valley or Animal Crossing, and you want something fun that doesn’t make your brain hurt with crypto stuff, @BeratoneGame might be your jam.

It’s built on @berachain uses something called Proof of Liquidity to keep the game economy smooth and fair. I’ve rounded up the latest updates so you can see what’s new and exciting.

1/ Orbitorium Program: Daily Quests, Big Rewards

This new feature just dropped: it’s called the Orbitorium Program. Basically, you do simple tasks in the game every day (like farming or fishing), and you earn points. Later, you can trade those points for cool rewards (they’re keeping the exact prizes a secret for now).

To join, you’ll need a special NFT, either a BeraToners NFT or a Founder’s Sailcloth NFT. These help you earn points faster. Right now, it’s super easy to climb the leaderboard because not many people are competing yet. One player even said it took just a few minutes to reach the top

BeraTone is giving out rewards from a big grant, over 113,000 BERA tokens (worth about $310K), so it’s a great time to jump in. You can grab the playtest version on https://t.co/mkhXiLZRGV (only if you have an NFT), and start doing quests early to rack up points. Over 3,200 BeraToners holders and 450 Sailcloth holders are already playing, so the community’s buzzing.

2/ Playtest Is Live: Chill Vibes, Smooth Gameplay

Since 5/2025, BeraTone’s been testing the game privately. Players can try out farming, fishing, crafting, and exploring in a 3D multiplayer world.

In 9/2025, they added a cool feature where you can stake tokens inside the game to earn BGT.

Thanks to a recent upgrade on Berachain, the game now runs faster and cheaper, less gas fees, quicker transactions.

It’s not one of those grindy “play-to-earn” games. BeraTone is more about relaxing and hanging out, like a mini metaverse.

3/ Big Money and NFTs on the Rise

BeraTone’s got solid backing. They raised $2 million in early 2025 from big names like Animoca Brands and others. Their NFT sale in May brought in another $236K, and they got a grant too. Altogether, they’ve got around $4 million to build the game and reward the community.

4/ BeraTone’s Role in the Berachain Ecosystem

Berachain has about $378 million locked in its system, and BeraTone is one of the standout projects.

While other apps focus on hardcore finance stuff, BeraTone brings fun and friendly vibes.
