@thebeach_today@hannahnadcoh I think the mistake is in assuming he's well intentioned (at least for now). The easiest story route is to see him as the least "outwardly" evil of the lot.
"How do we build a sustainable & expansive industry without reliable data? How do we move beyond repetitive formulas if we can't properly judge the life cycle of films? When box office data is missing, incomplete, or unreliable, performances might hastily be labelled as failures"
But how do we build audiences without first conditioning them? How do we expand taste without stifling creativity? And how do we expect the industry to grow if new or alternative offerings are never given the room to breathe?

Can't believe people genuinely think he shouldn't stop folks from using his WiFi. As in, one of the notable points of network vulnerability.... He should share it because YOU FEEL entitled to it.
Found out my neighbors have been using my Starlink
It wasn’t working today & this girl had the guts to knock my door and ask me for the password
I’m so amused
I can bet my balls that she can't summarise 5 of the books consistently.
When I was a child I used to scheme and call it reading.
The best way to read a book is 5 - 8 in a year… 🤝
Google Pixel is only good in aesthetics.
I don't recommend it especially if you intend to use it in Nigeria. This is a real life advice.
Apart from the Google Tensor chipset that throttles aggressively under intense usage, you won't get any form of local support, you will likely not get 5G signal and Volte support in Nigeria. A lot of features won't be available to you.
Google Pixel is not intended for Nigerian market. Don't let any tricky seller sugarcoat things for you. It's an expensive- for-nothing phone model that's not suitable for a Nigerian user.
Dem go wind you for Banex and Computer Village. Nor gree o.
You are better off with your Samsung, Redmi, Oppo and Vivo.
I will make another post about buying foreign-used Samsung in Nigeria and all these phones they called “Boxed” “Open Box” and what have you. There is more than meet the eyes. Walahi, I know things you don't know.

@Crosseyednerd Even the Mord Sith sef 😭😭😭 They are like tissue paper compared to the books + no depiction of how relevant they were to Richard's arc.
Omo, I can complain about this for hours. 😩
I’ve never done X Spaces before; I’m not even sure I know how to set it up. lol. But let’s do this. Next Saturday.
Let’s get on and talk about literature (and, if there’s time, films and songs and politics) and the matters in our African and Nigerian industries.
Open to all.
the origin story of how Living Single came to be is even better, watching them bounce off each other like this. their whole podcast has been even more satisfying than a potential reboot for me.
Had a fabulous time listening to and watching Turkish folk rock band, @Saykolar perform at the Turkish Festival D.C, last month - of course, I took photos.
Rock music is easily my favourite music genre and I've just found another subgenre to explore.

I just might be the only female who doesn’t see what the fuss is about this guy.
He looks like a regular guy wearing glasses tbh. Then again light skinned men always look like they’re my sisters to me.
I like my men like my coffee (black af and strong)😋
@adifferentshe I think it's relative. But I love GoLemon so much (especially because you can give specific instructions - like cutting up meat, pineapples, etc).
