With Anis potentially going to Wrexham, we remain relatively stacked on the left wing.

Maeda is the nailed-on starter for me, so the toss-up between who stays and goes is Jaden and Jack.

Both are great talents, but one has shown more commitment and professionalism.

Jack is rumoured to be going to Boro; if he does, we have an injured Jaden in a moon boot who didn’t get his move to cover for Maeda.

Letting Jack go would be a disaster.

🚨 A busy few days ahead at Portman Road as the transfer deadline edges closer, with movement expected in both directions.

🔵 Kayne Van Oevelen looks set to head out on a season-long to Valencia.

🔵 Anis Mehmeti is another one to watch. A loan move looks increasingly likely, with Derby County, Sheffield United and Wrexham all linked.

🔵 Jack Clarke is also being linked with a move to Middlesbrough. (Absolutely hope not).

🇦🇷 And then there’s Exequiel Palacios…

We remain in talks with Bayer Leverkusen, with a bid believed to be around €30m on the table. The two clubs are still working towards an agreement on the fee.

Could this finally be the week we get our man? 👀

Plenty of ins, plenty of outs and potentially one huge arrival before the window shuts.

He changed his agent and instructed them to find a new club. He also didn’t want to sign for us when he could have, opting to return to Villa. We’ve always been his second choice.

Don’t get me wrong. I love him for the Norwich goal, the Birmingham hatrick and so on.

But the stuff around that, brings me down.
That’s my take on it anyways.

@piratesmurf24 @MattLeeBull I think Fulham, Palace, Forest and Newcastle could all struggle this year. As well as us, Coventry and Hull.

This league is a lot more open than it has been any other year.
