Barack: You told me all those years ago that you couldn’t promise me the world, but you could promise me an interesting life. Of course, you outdid yourself and managed to give me both.
Eight years in the crucible, and not once did you melt from the heat. Not once did you let it harden you. Instead, you used it to reveal your truest essence: your stubborn optimism and unflinching courage, your dazzling brilliance and unpretentious decency, your ferocious work ethic and absolutely unshakable moral fiber.
More than 40 years ago, I arrived in Chicago in search of an idea. I was a young man looking for purpose, who believed deeply in America, was inspired by the Civil Rights Movement, and wanted to be a part of something larger. The America I believed in was one where everyone has opportunity, everyone is seen, everyone belongs—because that was an America that had a place for me, too.

“I’m a 46 years old Nigerian Yoruba woman and I’ve never been married , I’ve never been engaged, never looked at wedding pictures or dresses , I don’t have any children too. None of these things have never been a priority for me, I’m not interested in any of them”

A Nigerian police officer woke up this morning not knowing his life was about to change forever.
Koko Pee just gave an update. He got off the phone with the officer's colleague and is now waiting for them to call him back.
But listen to what has happened since then.
From Instagram and Facebook alone, over
₦4 million has been pledged. Real people. Real money. All pouring in for one police officer who showed emotion during the protest.
In less than 24 hours, this man's life has changed completely. That is the power of the Ratel movement.
And this is a lesson to every Nigerian police officer out there. The same movement you may have looked down on can change your life overnight. Anywhere you see a Ratel member, treat them well. Treat them with respect.
Because this is what the Ratel movement does. It sees good and rewards it.
God bless VeryDarkMan, Koko Pee, and the Ratel movement. 🙏
First and foremost, lemme quickly explain that I didn’t intentionally go to see His Imperial Majesty, the Oonirisa @OoniAdimulaIfe without wifey, She’s busy with the triplets. E mabinu.
Right, it was great spending time with Kabiesi yesterday at the palace. Drinking water from his well of wisdom is part of what makes a man in life; I don’t take this moments for granted.
From the warm welcome from the palace family, to the welcoming aura of Kabiesi himself, I still feel goosebumps from yesterday. It’s all gratitude from me because that little boy of yesterday, is now dining with actual kings.
There’s something about this palace that screams class! The pristine nature, the luxurious air, the spiritual feel, the taste of home… What an experience. It’s not my first time but it feels like one. Thank you Kabiesi for the opportunity to spend time with you again.

“VeryDarkMan is not your regular kind of celebrity!! This is someone that just came back from China and he started his own APC and Tinubu must go protest this same night that he landed” !!!
WE’VE BEEN HERE BEFORE!
I have the singular honor of appearing in two courts in one day.
This morning, I am standing trial at the Kuje Magistrate Court with 13 others for demanding that the illegitimate Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu regime release Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
Same time today, I will appear before Justice M.G. Umar, who is determined to convict me for calling his lord and master, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, a criminal.
Regardless of these politically motivated prosecutions, the struggle for liberation cannot be stopped. No amount of intimidation, harassment, or judicial persecution can silence the demand for justice and freedom.
The liberation struggle continues. #RevolutionNow #TinubuMustGoNOW
“I’m a supporter of Tinubu but I have to tell him the truth, Mr president, nobody will remember you for the roads you built or the policies you implemented, Nigerians will remember you for all these ins£curities and if people were safer under you, please get our children back”

It's about time the National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools (NAPPS) understood that education is more than a business and that profit should not outweigh humanity. Their decision to distance themselves from this protest raises serious concerns. If this incident had occurred in one of their schools, would the public not have stood in solidarity with them?
Moments like this demand collective responsibility, not selective involvement. No school, whether public or private, is immune to the challenges facing our education system. Standing together in times of crisis strengthens the entire sector and sends a clear message that the safety and welfare of students and teachers matter above all else.
