Acts like this NDAA show that having legislators make "laws" over us even in the "constitutional process" was a fool's bargain. The Bill of Rights was a shiny object in a bum deal. With means of voluntary self rule, we need nothing allocated that we don't directly fund ourselves.
@BeckyJohnson222@OrangeCorbata@Alec_Zeck Faced with a coercive situation, yes.
Well, so were the American revolutionaries.
And the people who stand in front of tanks at Beijing universities and at Palestinians' homes.
And whistleblowers at censoring orgs.
Sometimes we need to eat coercion for breakfast.
@CalvinPerr26876@BeckyJohnson222@Alec_Zeck It is.
It also can be put on a plate and walked over to the breakfast table with a nice bottle of pure maple syrup, so long as there is stand and fight left in the humans.

@heatherbelle67@BeckyJohnson222@Alec_Zeck It's about standing in coercion's face, a face recognizable as evil, yet still we have legs to stand.

@BeckyJohnson222@OrangeCorbata@Alec_Zeck Please watch https://t.co/YjgYVbKEMN -- service personnel were literally, physically pummeled to the ground to be injected.
Reprehensible.
TBS, many of us lost everything because of our refusal, and would (will) make same decision.
Right=Right
Wrong=Wrong

It still absolutely amazes me that we allowed the government to shut down church worship which has not one but two specific guarantees in the bill of rights.
The right to peaceably assemble and the free exercise of religion. Both spelled out separately in the first amendment.
Absolutely nothing can ever give the government the right to keep people from gathering to worship. If they want to issue advice or warnings, fine. But they cannot restrict us from assembling to worship.
RFK Jr. sat on CNN and said something that should not have been controversial. He said the government’s first duty in any future pandemic is to protect constitutional rights. Not balance them against expert opinion. Not temporarily suspend them. Protect them.
Dana Bash reacted as if he had just committed a category error. She told him she did not want to “allow” him to say things that were not entirely true. Allow. That is the word she chose. Not “challenge.” Not “disagree.” Allow.
Watch that moment carefully and the entire posture becomes clear. This is not a journalist testing a claim. This is a gatekeeper deciding which premises are permitted on air. The substance of Kennedy’s argument ... that the last response got almost everything wrong ... barely registered. What registered was the unacceptable suggestion that rights might rank above the public-health machinery.
That is the scandal that never ended. A large part of the media and the expert class still treats constitutional rights as optional equipment that can be powered down whenever the right people declare an emergency. They do not say it in those words. They simply act as if the Bill of Rights is a set of guidelines that apply only when the experts find them convenient.
Bash’s performance was not an outlier. It was a clean demonstration of the surviving mindset. The lockdowns are over. The mandates are gone. The emergency declarations have expired. But the assumption that experts outrank rights never left the building. It just learned to speak more politely until someone like Kennedy forced the issue back into the open.
The Constitution was not written as a suggestion for calm weather. It was written to restrain power precisely when fear is highest and the people in charge are most certain they know better.

Property tax is an illegal tax. I’m not selling my property. Im not making money off of my property. but every year the corrupt government taxes me on what they think the value of my house is. How did we get to this point? I’m mad at every person that didn’t fight to stop this when it was put into place.
Here, with @drdrew, @jeffreytucker articulates a COVID theory that I have had for a while (though he does so better than I have)…
They REALLY wanted the vaccine to magically end the pandemic, and a lot of people (liberals) who deep down knew we had overreacted needed the shot as the face-saving excuse for finally getting back to normal.
I'd say @KelliSwanArt explains it pretty well.
It's as if someone says the 12 noon sun isn't bright because the 11 am sun is also bright, never mentioning that midnight exists.
The sun at midnight is the correct reference to how much pharma we need unless seeking medical care.
@uTobian I wish there was a good way to explain to people the "no placebo" subject. How a past iteration of a drug is used as a placebo, and thus each subsequent iteration builds in more and more errors thus making them more and more dangerous. Turtles all the way down.
Vaccines are so Safe & Effective™ that:
• They are never tested against inert saline placebos in clinical trials.
• They require liability protection.
• They require mandates to force people to take them.
• There is no proper post-market surveillance system.
• They require billions of dollars of propaganda.
• Anyone who questions them is censored, fired, banned, and/or blacklisted.
• They require their own separate court system.
• Big Pharma rewards regulators with lucrative jobs and stock options after they approve shots.
• Their promoters require presidential pardons.
• Even with presidential pardons their promoters take the 5th.
@KielbasaJJ@adamtirapelle@dbeshada1 The so called Bill of Rights was a shiny bag of silver the Constitutional delegation used to prevail on getting the people *Presided over" and "Legislated over."
