Last week, Metro Transit community service officers issued 170 citations (fines), which is a lot more than in all of 2021 and 2022 combined. In fact, Metro Transit -- which issued nearly 2,000 citations in 2017 -- issued just 9 in 2021. (How do you drop from 1,978 to 61 in 2022?)
