If you are against data centers, then right now vow to: Throw away your phone No more streaming No more social media No more uber No more ordering food online No more Amazon No more Claude, Gemini or grok. No more web surfing No more streaming music No more online video games No more credit cards No more online banking No more online telehealth or accessing your medical records. All of these use data centers at their core. And that’s only the consumer side. That doesn’t include the race for AI superiority so we can ensure China doesn’t win it and use AI to destroy our infrastructure and comms. I’m all for ensuring data centers are forced to fund their own resources and provide benefits to the community they are in. If you are against data centers, then sign out of X and go live a life completely off the grid.
