Running several search projects in parallel makes updating R or #rstudio a little nightmare. Package compatibility is messed up by larger updates, some projects need older versions. Does anyone run multiple installations in parallel (one for each project)?

@linusdahlander This is no criticism, only an observation. It seems that there is something else wrong. There is a large number of stories like this, but the journal name is NEVER mentioned. This makes journals more or less immune. Again, no criticism, to be honest, I wouldn't name it either.
