@British_Airways my experience of BA yesterday was worst I have ever had. Flight cancelled and level of customer support was non existent. Appreciate apparent disruption aiding issues but this was known about at start of the day as you sent out emails. /1
Am I supposed to sleep on floor of terminal tonight?!? With no support provided by BA I have had to book a flight with Easyjet a day earlier which I will be seeking BA to cover the cost of. 5/5
Email re hotel also said that only accommodation booked via BA hotel portal would be covered and not if booked myself. You have an obligation to provide accommodation until you get me to destination. /4
@British_Airways@KirkChristina You may be suffering disruption but BA could provide better support to affected customers. I had similar experience to Christina yesterday, the worst experience I have ever had with BA and not a single staff member on site or on phone did anything meaningful

And asking check in / gate staff the explanations make no sense. “Online check-in hasn’t been available for months” “the app is being replaced so it has been made unavailable” “it’s been stopped as it wasn’t providing (valid?) QR codes.”
@British_Airways do you have issues with your online checkin?
Myself and several other passengers told by your website that it was not possible to check in online for this morning’s JER / LHR BA1339. Regular traveller and IT issues just seem to get worse and worse with BA!
@Getonthelash2 It tops out at €250 million. It’s the GBP equivalent. After a few weeks, if the jackpot isn’t won I think it goes to the next level down.
This lovely lane goes to our local primary school. Look at what our equivalent of the local council have done during May half term. Madness. My kids went to the school for years and there was never a problem.
