@austingriffith My rule of thumb is a typical household uses 1 kW [power = energy/time] on average. So 31 days * 24 hours = 744 hours in a month. So that's 744 kWh [energy]. So that's some hefty energy usage there. So if you hear a power plant is 1 MW, you reasonably assume it powers 1000 homes.
