À margem da Cimeira de Líderes Mundiais sobre Acção Climática, mantivemos um encontro bilateral com Sua Excelência Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, Presidente da República Federativa do Brasil.

Durante o encontro, discutimos sobre as nossas relações bilaterais e vimos a pertinência de retomar a nossa cooperaç��o em áreas de impacto económico e social, tais como agricultura, saúde, transporte e logística, infra-estruturas e recursos naturais.

Falámos igualmente sobre a importância de uma transição energética justa, do acesso equitativo ao financiamento climático e da valorização do papel dos países do Sul Global na defesa do planeta.

Aproveitámos a ocasião para convidar o Presidente Lula da Silva a visitar Moçambique, convite que foi cordialmente aceite.
