@henrywinter Inconsistent league performances (especially away), late goals conceded and the Sunderland performance have been cause for frustration this season but he should be backed. Gets the club, works hard, is shameful for any fans calling for his head. Be careful what you wish for. 2/2
@henrywinter Eddie Howe is a top head coach and the top English head coach. The job he has done at NUFC is excellent, a trophy, 4th, 7th, 5th place finishes in PL and 2 x CL campaigns is no disgrace and exactly what us NUFC fans have wanted since the days of the great Sir Bobby. 1/2
@SkySports_Keith Both statements are pathetic and totally embarrassing. The club shouldn’t be resorting to this kind of response and the poor advice Isak is receiving clearly continues. Isak looks like a spoilt brat and the club look like an incompetent parent unable to control their unruly child
@NUFCblogcouk Totally embarrassing from him tbh. The poor advice he’s receiving continues. No way back for this snake now - I’m shocked at how he’s playing this out.
@Red____Rex Exactly - this isn’t about delaying a move to avoid one fixture, it’s about professionalism. You sign a 6 year deal with no clause then you honour it or work with the club to find a solution, you don’t refuse to play.
@Red____Rex I get the theory but I disagree. If Newcastle were holding out until after 25th that’s still very different to what is happening here - a player refusing to play. If he wanted flexibility to leave easily his agent should have secured a release clause.
@bbcnewcastle@raisbeck10 This man doesn’t get dragged into the mud. Level headed, professional, respectful and in that respect a class above most modern managers. NUFC’s greatest asset.
Show some respect.
Fire your agent.
Look Eddie Howe in the eye — the man who built a team around you — and apologise.
Then get back on the pitch and earn it.
@robanderson001 All correct, except you are far more likely to get an email telling you you’ve been unsuccessful. Over the last two seasons, I have been successful in 1 ballot from around 20 entries.
@ColinBrazierTV I spend a lot of time in Newcastle but live in Southampton and have to say the change has occurred much more rapidly in Southampton. Relatively speaking, Newcastle still retains a higher proportion of local workforce.
