@MarksLarks Trouble is, station concourses do seem to be private places: in my time I've been picked up for both photographing and tape recording (in the days when such equipment was highly conspicuous).
@AndrewOrlowski Maybe the trouble started with Nick Davies' otherwise estimable Flat Earth News. Despite all the work I personally experienced one collapse on 31.12.99 - a Garmin GPS handset. Didn't an NHS maternity system also go titsup? Someone should collect examples before its too late.
