I gotta get something off my chest…
I’m tired of hearing about “religion.”
“What’s your religion?” “Are you religious?” “I’m not religious.”

Let me say this loud and clear:
Knowing God has NOTHING to do with religion.

A person can know God deeply and never step in a church,
and someone can sit in church every single Sunday and still not hear God at all.

Most of what people call “religion” today is just organizations, routines, and titles.
And Jesus actually spoke against that fake stuff:

“These people honor Me with their lips, but their hearts are far from Me.” — Matthew 15:8

He wasn’t after rituals — He was after relationship.

“For I desire mercy, not sacrifice.” — Hosea 6:6 / Matthew 9:13
(God cares about your heart, not your performance.)

And don’t forget:
“Man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.” — 1 Samuel 16:7

Religion can be used as a weapon.
Relationship with God is freedom.
Big difference.
