Karena udah lama ga bikin thread dan lebaran ga OOO, kali ini pengen sharing dikit soal apa yang lagi gua handle. currently, I’m working for a company yang fokus di workforce management buat blue-collar jobs dan lagi berkutat sama "rounding issue"

gua selalu percaya kalo tech seharusnya bisa "memanusiakan manusia" dan moving to 9dp is not just a technical requirement, it’s about making sure no one gets cheated by a rounding error. Precision is a form of respect.

Kalo kita pake 9dp, 0.283..3 x 2 = 0.566..6h, dan kalo di-round pas akhir, dapetnya 0.57h alias 34 menit

kedengarannya sepele, cuma beda 1 menit, tapi buat temen-temen blue collar, every minute is a hard-earned money, apalagi kalau pay item-nya pake hourly rates.
