Seeing this #Stargate continuation series news finally come to life fills me with TREMENDOUS HAPPINESS for the franchise and its creators!

Back in the late 1990s/early 2000s, Richard "Apollo" Hatch (RIP) and a dedicated group—including myself—poured everything we had into resurrecting Battlestar Galactica as a true continuation of the 1978-79 series. Our vision was never about nostalgia alone; it was about expanding their universe, telling bold new stories, and honoring the legacy in a way that would have elevated everything that came before. Stargate CAN do this now. I'm 100% all in!

Heartfelt congratulations to @BaronDestructo (Joseph Mallozzi), Brad Wright, Martin Gero, Joby Harold, Tory Tunnell, Dean Devlin, and Roland Emmerich.

@Amazon @AmazonMGMStudio As a loyal Prime member since day one and a longtime Stargate fan, I was truly excited by your greenlight of Martin Gero's new Stargate series with creatives Brad Wright and Joseph Mallozzi attached. Canceling it after serious development is a MISTAKE. Original fans are your bridge to new audiences.

Don't abandon what made the franchise great -- evolve it with legacy talent/creatives + new stories + introducing some new characters. I WILL WATCH THAT. Again, Original fans are your bridge to new audiences and global appeal.

And, yes, I'm calling your offices to politely say you need to reconsider this recent cancellation of Martin Gero's Stargate production and reverse your recent decision ASAP.
