@farazamiruddin I got a job by explaining that in 15+ years of working with JavaScript I have never met a backend developer who would expect such a business logic algorithm to be done on the frontend. Give me the ordered data and let me update the DOM already, I can even make it fade in slowly.

(I get some funny looks when people walk into the office, it looks kind of ridiculous because it's a 36” screen, but I don't care, when they see all the phones working in sync, they get it).

@fernandojsg If you consider video games to be a form of relaxation and meditation then finding time is a bit easier. (I don’t know if they are actually these things, but I feel like that). 👍

@benmvp @parkerbossier Also when we peer review code we can easier reason about the _.functions, here is an example of something I can easily review and be more sure the code is good.

I think it’s funny when people talk about WebAssembly or Blazor and say “and THEN what are JS devs gonna do” with a smirk

We’ll adapt! JS devs are resilient and wild cards. We put JavaScript on the server! We think types are optional! Don’t challenge us, we just get weirder!
