@nealrogers I'm generally a fan of the NBC coverage -- or of any coverage at all that allows us to watch the Tour -- but the question today was absurd: "Who had the better day?"
Love the Tour?
Love supporting grassroots nonprofits?
Love having fun?

It's low-key, simple, fun -- and all for the kids.
Just as the French title of the Netflix series is much better than what we see in the US, check out what the English misses on this tweet for @letour.
"Hostilities"? Bring it on!
@nealrogers This is right-on...DSs consistently underestimate how much a team will help a 2nd-tier GC rider — & also the power of story for sponsors. "We got 8th on GC" as lead takeaway is a good way to lose a sponsor.
I lost someone I loved to injuries suffered in a bike accident. It's a brutal, dangerous sport. But I believe it's possible to honor riders we lose while appreciating cycling's magic & beauty. I'll wince at every descent, but I'll watch this year's Tour with wonder.
RIP Gino.
@Cyclingnewsfeed Huge mistake. If he rides TDF and doesn’t win, it was admirable. If he does it’s an all-time triumph - one for the ages. Lefevere is a knowledgeable mgr but a terrible marketer.
"We have it worse" exchanges about wildfire smoke are tiresome. It was miserable when we had it here in CA; it looks awful on the East Coast & I feel terrible they have to deal with it.
I know we gave up on "We're in this together" in 2020, but is it only ever schadenfreude now?
