Check out this fig that I grew from seed from dried figs that I had ordered on Alibaba a few years ago, which were grown in XinJiang, China. I think this is a type of Ficus Afghanistanica.
@ashtonforbes One explanation is that the detector could have an impact on the photons. Instead of turning it on and off, I think they should put a lens cap over the detector and leave it on. I suspect that they would get the same results with lens cap over it as they do with it removed.
I just got a ripe fig from off another fig tree I grew from seed today. Best Christmas present ever. This is a seedling of a Turkish fig variety called Ispilya that I germinated 2 years ago. Has a red jolly rancher flavor. Definitely a keeper. #figs#turkey#garden#fruits
Figoin aka Verdino del Nord, is a green fig with a delicious berry flavor. This is one of my favorite green fig varieties. There are a few figs with the same name. This is the version from Bass at TreesofJoy #figoin#figs#figtree#higos#anjeer#fruits#gardening#garden
The Cherry Cordial Fig was discovered growing in Santa Barbra a few years ago, and said to have Ficus Palmata genetics aka Punjab Fig or Wild Himalayan Fig. This is one of my favorite fig varieties. #Punjab#Punjabi#Figs#cherry#berry#wild#himalayan#palmata#fruits
Here's a fig from another fig tree I grew from seed. It is a seedling I germinated from a Corky's Honey Delight fig that was pollinated with a Ficus Palmata "icebox" caprifig. Taste great with some tanginess to it. #figtree#garden#fruits#figs#higos#fig
Check out this new fig variety that I grew from seed two years ago. It is a seedling of a White Madeira Fig. I've tasted nearly 100 fig varieties, and this is one my favorites #figs#fruit#fig
@TLAVagabond Those hostages shouldn't have been dressed as civilians....That's what Hamas does. And, waiving a white flag pretending to surrender. Another thing that Hamas does. Totally understandable honest mistake on the Israeli soldier's part.
@James83101085@thefarmbabe The USDA article you linked to includes 15.5 billion in Direct Government Farm Payments. And, that article doesn't dispute the claim I am making which is that farmers took a record amount of billions of $ in taxpayer handouts in 2022 and are attributing it to climate change.
