@CalmCollective6 @MBTA_CR This was not a flag stop, which requires one to board fr the platform. I should have been able to board fr where I was waiting. If they were understaffed & didn’t have anyone stationed there, the right thing to do would be to wait & allow me to board from where I was running to.
Wondering if anyone out there was on the Haverhill Commuter Rail 286 going to North Station and witnessed the train employee refuse to let me board the train at Melrose Highlands for no reason? @universalhub@MBTA_CR
@MBTA_CR@universalhub I already called and explained the situation after it happened. The 959 is not a flag stop and I was down on the street level. When I realized the doors weren’t opening I ran to the platform. The employee saw me and I was on platform before train left. But he blocked the door.
BREAKING: Star third baseman Rafael Devers and the Boston Red Sox are finalizing an 11-year, $331 million contract, sources familiar with the agreement tell ESPN.
The deal is not done. The physical process hasn't started. But in the end, Devers is expected to remain in Boston.
And in the top of the 10th with a runner on third and the infield in, they get the groundout they need and can’t throw the guy out at home. 2022 is getting Bobby Valentine level bad.
This is basically impossible. It’s the opposite of clutch. It’s the antithesis of fundamental baseball.
Runner at third, nobody out: K, HBP, K, groundout.
BASES LOADED NOBODY OUT: K, GIDP.
Tonight’s raid on Mar-a-Lago should send a chilling message to the rich and powerful:
If you openly brag about doing crimes, try to overthrow the US government, and then get caught trying to cover it all up, you may get a visit from the police two years later.
Is it just me getting old, or does anyone else have pairs of player names you mix up all the time?
Three of mine:
Bryan Reynolds / Brian Anderson
Jorge Polanco / Eduardo Escobar
Jackson Kowar / Kumar Rocker

The Mother's Day Miracle game in 2007 was when the Red Sox entered the bottom of the 9th down 5-0 and won the game. There could be another Mother's Day Miracle today if the Red Sox just simply won the game by any score. Any score at all. Just winning a singular baseball game.
