The Denver Nuggets are converting two-way Spencer Jones to a standard NBA contract for the remainder of the season, sources tell ESPN. Jones will become a restricted free agent in June. He has started 34 of 46 games for the Nuggets, averaging 6 points and 41.4% shooting from 3.
Denver Nuggets will convert swingman Spencer Jones from a two-way contract to a standard contract, league sources tell me. The second-year player has had a standout campaign.
So your contention is that we aren’t as good from 3 as the last game would suggest, and your logical next step is to say we should shoot even more 3’s, more than 94% of D1 teams, and more per game than any Davidson team ever?
We haven’t suddenly turned a corner btw, we just shot really well from 3. That’s our only chance to beat even decent teams in conference play. We should be playing faster and shooting at the very least 30 3s per game.
I'M MOVING!
Over the past nine years, Minnesota has become home for me, my family, and Catalyst Training. We’ve worked with thousands of players, partnered with so many great programs, and built relationships that mean a lot more than just basketball.
With that said… we’re expanding to Florida. My family and I will be moving to the Cocoa Beach area, and we’re excited for the next chapter and the new opportunities it brings.
But let me make this very clear: nothing changes in Minnesota.
I will continue to operate in Minnesota just like I always have. I’ll be flying back regularly to run workouts, work with teams, and continue investing in the players and programs that have trusted us for years. Minnesota is still a huge part of what we do, and it will stay that way.
When I’m on the road, our staff will keep everything rolling — the same way they do every summer and every busy travel season. They’re incredible at what they do, and I have complete trust in them.
This move to Florida doesn’t replace anything we’ve built in Minnesota… it simply adds to it. We’re growing, not shifting.
If you’re in Florida and want to connect, reach out.
Minnesota - I’m not going anywhere. I’ll be back often.
The work continues.
Benny Gealer holy hell.
Stanford does the impossible late and steals an almost certain victory from Saint Louis with a perfectly executed free throw miss and a wild corner three.
