@SouthwestAir 90 minutes late just to find a de-icing truck for the first flight of the day. 45 minutes of plane boarding and they didn't know or couldn't do it then. I could have slept in instead of a 5:15am flight. Will take @americanair on flight back.
Only reason to take a 5am flight is to get somewhere on time! 1st flight of day and 1 .5 hours late departing. Could have slept in and taken American. @SouthwestAir
Just published in @Forbes: How Answer-First Content Is Changing Home Services SEO
Old playbook:
Rank high
Show in map pack
Run Google Ads
Get reviews
New reality:
Homeowners search → Google shows AI answers → someone gets called.
In 2024, ~60% of searches ended without a click.
Which means the contractor whose content becomes the answer often wins the job.
I break down what contractors need to change and how to fix pages that already rank.

If you’re a contractor and you’ve ever said, “PPC just doesn’t work for us,” this one’s for you.
I just dropped a new @Forbes article:
“𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐏𝐚𝐲-𝐏𝐞𝐫-𝐂𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐤 𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬 𝐅𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐬 𝐖𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐄𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲.”

Most HVAC marketing problems aren’t caused by weak ads or small budgets.
They’re caused by unused service data sitting in the CRM.
I explain how contractors can turn equipment age, service history & technician insights into real marketing ROI in my latest Forbes article.

I rolled over a few unused HGVC points and Hilton charged me $249. That's a night stay penalty. Another reason never to buy a timeshare in your 30's. I switched from Diamond to Marriott Bonvoy. @HiltonGrandVac
Plumbing companies don’t lose jobs because of low demand.
They lose them because they respond too slowly.
Same-day service isn’t about working harder — it’s about building a system that removes delay from the first call to job completion.
Speed builds trust.
Trust wins the job.
I break it all down in my latest @Forbes article:
“From Call To Completion: How To Build A System For Same-Day Plumbing Jobs.” https://t.co/kVGDCxylsh
Home service pros: You don’t need bigger ad budgets to win. 🛠️

Stop the $4 . 2M municipal building.
My home assessment just increased 45% this month. 45% of last years value and that will be a massive tax bill increase. Village trustees need to slow down!

@HiltonGrandVac was the dumbest thing I did in my youth. TS paid off, but HOA dues are more than renting the same resort at nightly rates. $1600 for 5 days annually when I can pay $123 per night ($615) and save. I can’t even book the below Tahoe resort as an owner. WTH!
