To ensure top-quality and durable roads, Third-Party Validation (TPV) inspections are being carried out across all road construction sites. These independent checks ensure quality and long lasting infrastructure for the people of Punjab.
On the death anniversary of Benazir Bhutto, we remember her with solemn respect and offer heartfelt condolences to her family, colleagues, and all who continue to mourn her loss. Her life and leadership left a lasting imprint on Pakistan’s political history, and her sacrifice remains a poignant reminder of the cost borne in the pursuit of democratic ideals. May her memory endure as a call to peace, justice, and reconciliation.
Following the tragic incident in Lodhran, where a precious life was lost due to an open manhole, the Punjab Safe Cities Authority has developed ‘Talk to Camera’, an advanced AI system that allows officers to query the entire camera network using natural language. The system can automatically detect issues such as open manholes, overflowing dumpsters, and visible smoke in real time.
After successful pilot deployments in Lahore and Sheikhupura, Talk to Camera is now being scaled across Punjab to strengthen rapid response capabilities and advance smart city management.

PRESS RELEASE
Pakistani Christian Community Strongly Condemns Pahalgam Terror Attack and India’s Hostile Threats Against Pakistan
Lahore, Pakistan – April 27, 2025
The Pakistani Christian community, under the leadership of The Most Reverend Dr. Azad Marshall, D.D., President Bishop of the Church of Pakistan, strongly condemns the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir, and expresses deep concern over the Indian government’s irresponsible threats to cut off Pakistan’s water supply a clear violation of the Indus Waters Treaty and international norms.
We firmly reject India’s baseless accusations against Pakistan, a tactic repeatedly employed without credible evidence. Indian allegations have often been exposed as fabrications, while India’s own grave human rights abuses against Kashmiri Muslims, Christians, and other minorities are widely documented and condemned by the international community.
The world is not blind to the oppression faced by the people of Kashmir and the escalating violence against Christians in India. Attempts to deflect attention by scapegoating Pakistan only further damage India’s credibility.
Pakistani Christians proudly stand shoulder to shoulder with the Government and Armed Forces of Pakistan. Members of our community have served with distinction in the defense of the nation, with many even sacrificing their lives for Pakistan’s freedom and security. This proud legacy our officers, soldiers, and heroes who fought for Pakistan testifies to the unwavering loyalty of Pakistani Christians to their homeland. Today, we remain steadfast in our commitment to defend Pakistan’s sovereignty and stability.
We affirm that all Pakistanis Muslims, Christians, Hindus, Sikhs, and others are united in defending the sovereignty, peace, and honor of Pakistan. Any threat to our country will be met with a unified and resolute response.
We call upon the Indian leadership to cease hostile rhetoric and pursue responsible dialogue. Lasting peace in South Asia cannot be achieved through threats and provocations, but only through justice, respect, and cooperation.
We pray for the safety, stability, and continued progress of Pakistan, and pledge to stand firmly against all forms of aggression and injustice.
