Christmas Eve in the Netherlands, where every year children light candles on the graves Canadian soldiers who liberated the Netherlands in '44-'45.
Thank you Canada! 🇨🇦
The National Day for Truth and Reconciliation is a time for all of us to pause, reflect, and listen. It is a day to honour Survivors of residential schools, their families, and communities, and to remember the children who never returned home.
At Canadore, we recognize the importance of learning from the past and committing to meaningful action in the present. Together, we stand in solidarity, creating space for truth, understanding, and reconciliation.
We invite our community to join us in wearing orange, engaging in learning, and continuing the important conversations that move us forward toward healing.
Join us today at 10:00 a.m. for a brief gathering at the College Drive Campus Pond Area. This event is an opportunity for our community to come together in reflection, remembrance, and support on this meaningful day.

✨ Interprofessional Learning in Action! ✨
Our Occupational Therapist Assistant/Physiotherapist Assistant (OTA/PTA) students teamed up with Strength & Sport Conditioning (SSC) students in the Dome for an incredible hands-on exchange.
👩⚕️ OTA/PTA students shared therapeutic modalities to support active populations in rehab programs.
🏋️ SSC students guided their peers through exercise techniques and equipment safety.
This collaboration highlighted:
✅ Shared clients & teamwork
✅ Confidence through teaching
✅ Pride in representing their fields
To teach it, you have to know it - and our students rose to the challenge! 💪
👏 Huge thanks to Professors Mabel and Caleb for creating opportunities where knowledge, collaboration, and experiential learning come together.

I am so happy that our @CanadoreCollege ECE students are now taking thier Observation class at the Lindsey Weld Centre. This is a unique partnership that will provide incredible learning opportunities.
✨ Our first-year ECE students had an exciting first off-site class at the Lindsay Weld Centre for Children!
They toured the childcare centre, explored observation spaces, and loved seeing toddlers and preschoolers in action - whether in the hallways, on the playground, or through the centre’s observation room windows. 👀👶🧒
In the weeks ahead, students will begin creating pedagogical documentation - using photos, notes, and reflections to make children’s learning visible. These displays will be shared on bulletin boards throughout the centre, celebrating the growth, interests, and unique personalities of the children alongside staff and families. 👶🧒
🐾 Panthers, you showed up big for Panther Palooza!
From teeing off at the ⛳ BucketGolf Challenge to rolling into 🎲 Rec2Go games and bouncing through the 🎈 Inflatable Fun Zone — the dome was packed with energy, laughs, and good vibes.
Thanks for bringing the spirit and making it such an epic day to connect, compete, and just have fun together! ❤️
New spaces, new faces, and a whole lot of energy. The Village Expo brought our first-year students together to experience the Village’s labs, connect across programs, and wrap up the day with games and fun at the Dome. What a way to start the semester! 🚀
There’s nothing quite like the excitement of Day 1 of the Fall Semester, filled with everything from morning coffees to engaging orientation sessions!
