To everyone who supported me, thank you. Christina, Justine, Graham, Andrea, and I deeply appreciate your friendship over the years. Representing Vancouver-Langara has been the role of a lifetime, and I look forward to continuing to contribute in meaningful ways.
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to serve. I will always be grateful for your support. #bcpoli (4/4)
As I complete my second term as the MLA for Vancouver-Langara, I want to take a few more moments to reflect on these past seven and a half years. Watch this video 👇 (1/4)
Throughout my two terms, I’ve strived to raise the standard of what we should expect from elected representatives. Integrity, compassion, and humility are integral to public service.
The increasing partisan divide and polarization in British Columbia reminds us that what matters most is the strength of the individual, their character, and integrity. I urge you to continue to expect more from those who seek your trust.
We must continue encouraging people from all walks of life to step up and represent their communities in the Legislature. I remain committed to mentoring and supporting others who will take on these vital roles. (3/4)
I had the distinct honour of presenting the King Charles III Coronation Medals to three truly exceptional individuals whose contributions have made such an impact on our community and beyond.
To Sing Yeo, who for over 40 years has dedicated himself to volunteering and philanthropy, passionately supporting health care, social services, multiculturalism and emergency disaster relief.
To Daljit Sidhu for his decades of community service in South Vancouver, including as a leader of the Punjabi Market.
To Andrea Krombein for her dedication to improving seniors' lives and fostering inclusivity in South Vancouver.
Their dedication to bettering the lives of others reflects the very best of our community spirit, and they embody the highest values of service, leadership, and compassion.
Thank you to Dr. Julian Somers @somerspsych , @VancouverPD Detective David Greaves and VSB Trustee Alfred Chien @alfredchien1 for engaging in dialogue at the community forum on drug prevention and awareness for families and children at the Marpole Neighbourhood House last night, organized by the Marpole Community Network and myself.
As well, thank you to my Youth Council members from Churchill and John Oliver Secondary who joined the discussion and questioned the lack of drug awareness programs in schools.
And to the parents who came, we hope you gained a better understanding of what children and youth face today. We need to keep our kids active and engaged in healthy activities, and maintain an open and respectful dialogue with them. #bcpoli
Seeing the students on this day reminded me why we fought for this—these young people deserve the best. Let’s keep investing in their success. #bcpoli 3/3
Full circle moment last Friday at the opening of the new Eric Hamber Secondary School!
Back in 2019, we rallied with students, teachers and alumni to push for building Hamber with more extracurricular space including an auditorium. Today, we saw part of it come to life. 🧵 1/3
With my wife Christina, a Hamber grad, we see the importance of these spaces to our growing community. We must invest where futures are built.
Thanks to @musqueam for making this day even more meaningful and to the Indigenous artists for the welcome post and art throughout the school to ground us. 2/3
Important words from @MichaelLeeBC heading into the BC provincial election ⬇️
“In the aftermath of political parties using communities for votes, what matters the most is the strength of the individual, the character, the integrity, and the ability to have trust and the confidence in the person you elect. That is what I always stood for, and I hope that you will expect more from the people who come to ask for your vote.”

My full speech from Sunday’s #BringThemHome Rally in Vancouver🎗️
In these challenging times, our community's strength lies in our togetherness. As we advocate for the safe return of the hostages, we also stand firm against the rise of antisemitism.
I invite you to watch, share, and join us in this crucial call to action. Every voice matters 🗣️
FROM MY SPEECH 🗣️
“To those who spread antisemitism, we say this: Your hatred has no place here.
To our neighbours who stand with us, we say: Thank you.
Your solidarity strengthens us and affirms that love is stronger than hate.”
#BringThemHome 🎗️
“We face a serious social challenge. We have laws against hate speech and incitement to violence that are not being enforced — at precisely the moment when our society is facing the very type of crisis for which these laws were enacted.” https://t.co/DpeuHJmMNS
Had an incredible time at #TasteOfManilaBC today 🎉🇵🇭
The kindness of the Filipino community truly shone through—amazing food, vibrant performances, and the warmest hospitality 😁
A big thank you to the organizers for bringing this joyful experience to our community!

What a beautiful part of #VancouverLangara 🌅
It’s an area that brings back memories from my childhood — this was my home arena when I played hockey for the Vancouver Thunderbirds.
