Top 8 in the Lille Regional with Purple Enel after a 9-1 finish in Swiss!

Señor Pink is a messed up card when paired with Gamma Knife and Mamaragan. The card advantage is obscene.

I’m pretty sure that my Snoopy sweater I was wearing on Saturday was super lucky though 😂

I know things got messy in my Top 8 match but I wanted to address what happened in game 3 against @Progress_2126.

Mirko accidentally attached 1 extra Don with leader effect than allowed and attacked for 8k instead of the max 7K swing that he had. I was able to counter out of the 7K swing but not the 8k swing that was declared at the time and I conceded the game on the last turn of overtime.

After a few minutes, the judges reached out to me regarding the mistake and any potential remedies. I stated that I’ve already conceded to Mirko and I was willing to honor that concession.

All in all, it was definitely an awkward interaction and it’s unfortunate that I couldn’t go further into the tournament but I’m genuinely ecstatic that I was able to get another top 8! Mirko was a class act the entire weekend and immediately apologized to me for the infraction. I wish him luck in top 4 and I’m looking forward to playing in another EU tournament in the future!

I’m super thankful to be able to get 2nd place in one of the first One Piece Regionals with the new Serial Luffy. It was a great tournament and I had a blast playing against some great players.

I’ve been fortunate enough to lock in a sale for my ungraded Luffy for $30,300 earlier this week.

While some people might have better deals lined up, I wanted to help other top 8 competitors make more informed decisions regarding the sale of their prize cards.

Hey everyone — I’ve been seeing a lot of really weird posts about Kyedae and me that are creating false narratives and spreading unnecessary hate — it’s really disheartening to see.

We parted on completely mutual terms, and we still care deeply about each other. It honestly hurts so much to see her being attacked when we BOTH supported each other through insanely difficult times. I also quit playing pro of my own accord and was never influenced by her to quit. People’s goals can change over time, and that is just what happened with me. In a healthy relationship, there should never be comparisons about who sacrificed more or gave more — that mindset is immature and helps nobody.

All I ask is that you please respect Kyedae as a person and respect the decision we made together. This kind of pointless “drama” is exactly why having a relationship in the public eye can be so draining.

She is also still dealing with ongoing health issues, which makes the negativity being spread even more heartbreaking and unfair.

Thank you for understanding, and once again, please respect our decision.
