What a lovely evening hosted by @BMAFoundationMR. Feeling very grateful for this opportunity to work on Meniere’s Disease and add new knowledge to this important topic.
A woman with hypertension presented to the clinic with a 4-day history of abnormal sounds in her ear. On examination, a small spider was seen moving within the external auditory canal of the left ear. The molted exoskeleton of the spider was also present. https://t.co/dye2sbbiL9

Dear @jeremy_hunt,
As Chancellor, please can you explain how scrapping inheritance tax is ‘affordable’, yet addressing brutal real terms pay cuts for the country’s teachers, doctors, nurses, paramedics & all other vital public servants is not?
Thank you. https://t.co/tfS1e8hgWT
Well, @theBMA has been warning that this was happening for years, but we keep being told "oh, people are lining up to get into medical school! You're worried about nothing!"
There's no point getting people through medical school if we then drive them out of the NHS afterwards.
Dear 🇬🇧,
The @Conservatives have starved the NHS of £40 BILLION a year over the last decade and they want you to be impressed with this £1B uplift. It's a joke. With pay/conditions so terrible here, this will simply train more staff to go work in Australia.

Dear @SteveBarclay,
There seems to be a lot of interest on UK #MedTwitter (@RoshanaMN) in how enticing Australia is for UK docs. Here are a few examples, from a junior doctor who made the move, of the international market you're competing with.
You should be worried.🧵
