Criticising members of Museveni family means you don't like the country and it is therefore a criminal offence. Muzungu colonial law was replaced with traditional/mob justice. In the new order even when you are intercepted by police, it first hands you over to the military to undergo Bachwezi prison initiation ceremony in the basment. Power to arrest is no longer with Police. Rules in the new order are being issued right and left. Judges first consult Mzee before delivering rulings and judgements. I am also in a neighbouring country trying to learn them. I will through our lawyer Medard Sseggona send you a list of what I have recorded so far.

Once Lukwago had been abducted and Martha Karua deported, judge Emmanuel Baguma fixed the bail application for hearing on 30th June, directed respondents to reply by 1 July, and the applicant to make rejoinders by 2nd July. He fixed hearing on 3rd July.

There was no hearing because Besigye did not have lawyers.

There was also no hearing of the Human Rights Enforcement application. As a matter of fact, the respondents weren't served because the lead lawyer who was to serve was abducted as he prepared to serve.

Today the judge has dismissed both the bail application and the human rights enforcement application. He says abduction from Nairobi is just speculation.

He has now fixed the hearing of the main treason case for 13th July.

Remember, prison authorities only gave a clearance to Besigye to access the facilities needed to prepare for his defense on 29th June. He has not been able to prepare for defense or even see the evidence against him.

I think the accused shouldn't bother trying to defend himself. It won't help. The court is determined to convict him. It doesn't mind about the process.

NOTORIOUS LAND GRABBERS REMANDED OVER UNLAWFUL EVICTION!

@AntiGraft_SH working with @CID1_UG and @ODPPUGANDA have arraigned notorious land grabbers Kayongo Bonniface and Kiseka Hamuza at Mukono, Chief Magistrates Court on charges relating to land grabbing including; Malicious damage to property, Destroying Growing Plants, Forcible Entry, and Forcible Detainer.

Between October and November 2025, in Luwunga Village, Nama Sub-county, Mukono District, Kayongo Bonniface, Kisekka Hamuza, and others still at large, forcibly entered land comprised in block 167, plot 81 in Kyaggwe. This land measures 311 acres and is registered in the name of Kiwanuka Stella as an administrator of the estate of the late Kiwanuka Joseph Musanze.

The accused stole property including; four metallic water tanks, water pumping machines, and caused extensive damage to four houses. They also uprooted and destroyed crops such as maize, cassava, sweet potatoes, tomatoes, banana plantations, and eucalyptus trees collectively valued at approximately Ugx 1 billion.
They have been remanded until 22/06/2026.
