The kids on this app have no clue. The @Yankees playoff meltdowns, hilarious inept moments, disappearing offense, and overall piss-poor play have been going for more than two decades.

@allan_cheapshot Made-up factions and random groupings of individuals with no other discernible connections should not last as long as a "storyline" involving real family. That's a tale you can tell a number of different ways because it's organic and real. Bloodline will live forever.
Here’s another wild concept. Wait for it …. You can go to a professional sporting event and act like a civilized adult and still enjoy the game instead of masquerading as a foul-mouthed cretin exercising his or her right to be obnoxious.
I’ve seen a lot of people giving their “hot take” on this but I don’t think it’s that complicated:
- Fans either cheering for you OR chirping at you is part of the gig when you’re signing up to be a professional athlete
- As a fan, you can expect a player to occasionally chirp back if they hear you.
- As the professional athlete, you need to be smart and realize you’re playing in front of a live audience and in today’s day and age, your reactions will be caught on camera.
The fan said “you suck” and PCA went off the rails. Idk if he needs to be punished, but I do think he was being stupid 🤷♀️
Thank goodness he spoke publicly on this because I had no idea his .173 average, three home runs, and five RBI through the end of May meant he was "struggling."
They put this shit on a PREMIUM. Key word PREMIUM LIVE EVENT. Imagine paying 30 dollars for the app and price of admission for this garbage #WWEBacklash
Gut-punch devastating news to wake up to this morning. John Sterling’s voice was the soundtrack of my springs and summers all my life. So many car rides with John’s voice blaring through the speakers. (I can still hear all his “….thuuuuuh pitch….”). When you think of the New York Yankees, John’s voice, his home run calls are loud and clear, echoing with the rich history this franchise offers. He is large part of that history. John Sterling will forever be the voice of the Yankees. It feels like another piece of my childhood has gone with him. Thank you, John, for all you gave to the game of baseball and for being the defining voice of multiple generations of Yankees fans like myself, my brothers, and my dad. You will be forever missed. Rest in peace to a legend. 💔💔💔
John Sterling was one of one. I loved him, and I’ll always be grateful for how good he was to me throughout my career.
No one loved baseball more than John. He was a true ambassador for the game, beloved and revered by everyone who knew him or heard his voice. I’ll never forget hearing him and Suzyn call games, and his incredible Hank Aaron stories.
The baseball world will miss him deeply, but we will never forget him. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones.
Remember when Juan Soto left and the #Yankees somehow turned a 12th round pick, non-prospect from Dartmouth into the same hitter for, quite literally, 1/800th of the cost?
@davemeltzerWON "Every "wrestling historian" says stupid stuff like 'Yeah, Hogan was good but he owes everything to Ol' Cornelius Johnson III who invented the armbar in 1915'"
@bostonmedia617@bigjimmurray@MikeMutnansky@bostonradio Felger's a good guy. So is Andy. When you work with people, whether as colleagues or acquaintances from competing outlets, for a long time you develop friendships and would hate to see anyone lose their job – especially being in the same business and knowing how cutthroat it is
