Some of you wanted to beta-test my LTX Desktop Fork app on your own system, so here it is!

https://t.co/0Ngar3eVYq

Please read the computer requirements before you download and install if you want to be able to generate images and videos locally on your computer, free of charge.

If your machine isn't robust enough, it's set up to use the LTX API, but that costs money and requires an account with @ltx_io with typical costs running about $0.54 per 6 second 720p clip.

Me, I like generating free locally on my NVIDIA 3090 Windows 11 machine with 64gb ram and 24gb on the card.

This app has a ton of features I built into it, that I use daily. I don't have documentation or video tutorials yet, but will create some if there is an interest.

We call it, "Doing a little telekinesis" 😆

Not hard at all when you're a time-traveling extra-terrestrial advanced alien species from another planet!
Just don't get a big head over it.

LTX 2.5 Multi-Shot

A medium wide shot of a small grey alien with smooth pale grey-beige skin, a large bald domed head and large glossy black almond-shaped eyes, wearing a dark grey zip-up jumpsuit with a small patch on the chest, sitting in a metal chair at a steel table in a bare, white-tiled interrogation room, the alien seated at the right of the frame and turned slightly toward the camera with a calm, unreadable gaze. On the table sit a clear plastic water bottle near the center, a small metal cup, a yellowed notepad and a small dark device, with a ceiling light panel casting flat cool white light, a small camera mounted in the upper right corner. The alien looks intently at the water bottle and the water bottle shivers and slides a few inches across the steel table with a faint scraping sound. A low electrical hum underlies the scene. A hard cut transitions to a close-up of the same small grey alien with the same large black eyes and dark grey jumpsuit, same white-tiled room and cool light, eyes narrowed in concentration as its eyes focus on the levitating water bottle; the view follows its gaze to the clear water bottle rising off the table and hovering in mid-air, water rippling inside, the metal cup rattling beneath it, the low hum rising in pitch. The view cuts to a wide shot of the same bare white-tiled room, the alien still seated at the steel table in its dark grey jumpsuit as it looks at the water bottle, the water bottle slowly lowers back onto the table, the hum cutting out into a ringing silence .

"I will answer your questions, but you will not like them"

A medium wide shot of a grey alien with a smooth, bald, oversized head, large black almond-shaped eyes, a tiny nose and a thin closed mouth, wearing a dark grey prison-style jumpsuit with a small white patch on the chest, seated on a metal chair at a steel interrogation table in a stark white padded room. A yellow legal pad, a small dark device, a water bottle and a dented metal cup sit on the table, a camera is mounted in the upper right corner, a vent is on the back wall, and flat cold fluorescent light falls from a single ceiling panel. The alien rests one hand on the table and turns its head slowly toward the camera, and in a soft, raspy, whispery voice says, "I will answer your questions." A faint electrical hum fills the room. A hard cut transitions to a close-up of the same grey alien's face, same large black eyes and smooth bald head, same dark grey jumpsuit collar, same cold white light, the eyes blinking once slowly as it says in the same soft, raspy voice, "But you will not like them." The faint electrical hum continues. The view cuts to a wide shot from behind the steel table, the yellow legal pad and water bottle in the foreground, the same grey alien in its dark grey jumpsuit seated across the table in the white padded room, the camera in the corner watching, as a deep, calm human voice off-screen asks, "Where are you from?" and the alien tilts its head and whispers, "Further than you can imagine." The hum continues.

Welcome to Interstate 666. 🎃

"7 days to Halloween"

Five scenes, five completely different color grades, from dusty desert sepia to 70s grindhouse reds to sickly tunnel green. All the camera moves were added in the edit, and the score ducks itself every time someone speaks.

"Fire is good... very good."

Listen to the music drop out of the way the second she speaks. That's auto-ducking in RiX, no hand keyframing.

AI video's real bottleneck isn't quality, it's bouncing between 4 apps. So I'm building one.

Everyone's hyped about 30-second AI takes this week. Cool. But the shot still dies if the camera just sits there.
This handheld drift and Dutch tilt were added AFTER generation, in the edit. No re-prompting, no re-rolls.
