I’ve given up on streaks for right now. I found Rest Stops will kill your streak almost every time. Even when I would enter them, the car at times would just drive right through them and get back on the freeway without parking, pulling over, or acting like it wanted to stop. I would have to disengage it. I made it to 500 miles on one streak while driving through Texas, but haven’t been able to get more than 100 miles at this point.

I’m currently on a road trip to Washington state from DFW in my 2020 Model 3 and I will agree with what you are saying as well. I have had only a few brake stabs, but then many acceleration surges. I am traveling west into the Sun, so maybe this could be part of the issue. I have noticed it more of the acceleration surges at night so I am wondering if it has something to do with oncoming light. One annoyance I had was it took one of the Express Lanes we have here on I35W. I tried signaling to go into the lane which would have bypassed it, but the car refused to move. I went ahead and let it since the cost was low and I didn’t want to break my streak. I have also noticed it it also not moving over for any vehicle on the shoulder of the freeway. And when I move it over to the other lane to pass, it doesn’t move back automatically like 12.6.4 did. It also seems to camp out more in the left lane than it used to.

But I agree, it’s a great improvement over 12.6.4 and even with its ‘quirks’, I wouldn’t go back.
