I’m about to cook up a storm , I was unable to cook during the weekend but today that i have got the time let’s make a delicious catfish pepper soup and oha soup.

I got the fish for 28k, the meat for 15k.

I went to church today with my very beautiful female friend who was wearing trousers. The ushers stopped her at the entrance and asked her to either go back or wrap a wrapper around her waist before entering.

I argued with them that there was nothing wrong with what she was wearing. While we were at it, some older women came outside and started pushing her away.

I was embarrassed. I asked her to get in the car.

Just as I was about to pull out, our priest walked down to the scene and called me back.

He said, "The church is never against women wearing trousers. It is only against indecent dressing. Women wear trousers to offices and schools. Teachers wear trousers. So why should they not be allowed to wear them to church?"

Complete silence.

He begged us to come inside.

All through Mass, those women kept frowning their faces.

My uncle told me about his land that he wanted to sell. I said I didn’t have any buyer, but if I found one, I’d let him know.

He spoke calmly and said, “No. I don’t want to sell this land to strangers. I want to sell it to you so it remains within the family.”

I told him I don’t want to buy any land. I have other projects running at the moment and I’m not interested in acquiring land right now.

He started explaining the importance of retaining family land and kept subtly pressuring me to buy it.

The land is worth over 10 million naira, but he said he was willing to sell it to me for 5 million because I’m family and he doesn’t want it to go outside.

I just told him I’d get back to him.
