Last time I checked, there were hundreds of other students who were supposed to be having a celebration. Why should the government impose forced grieving and emotion on those hundreds of students? You advertised to RV owners that we could pause and unpause service and- then, after we all purchased expensive equipment based on that promise, immediately changed that and are going to make us pay to keep a service active while the dish is sitting in a box all winter. The VA home loan’s appraisal panel is a model for the industry. Please do not listen to banking interests who are after a quick buck and use more automated valuation. This is a long-term disservice and danger to the financial well-being of veterans.This is not a taxpayer expense. We do not need a 2008-style mortgage meltdown affecting veterans, which is what will happen if predatory lenders are allowed to skew home valuations and get veterans upside down with bad loans backed by automated valuations that they can manipulate.

No, government sponsored entities like Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac are the biggest scam. They are able to do things with nearly the same power as a government agency, but none of the accountability. And they affect a much larger portion of our economy. DOGE needs to find a way to reign them in.

This is why politicians without real estate experience shouldn’t come anywhere near these issues. I’m a conservative Republican, but he sounds like a moron. You’re not paying rent or being taxed over and over on the property. You’re being taxed for all the things that have to do with the property. If you want to own your property outright and pay no property taxes then have no fire, police etc service. Have no government services of any kind. It’s not an issue of debating whether the spending is too high. That’s a separate issue. But I’m sick as a Republican of these uneducated idiots like this talking about property taxes when they don’t even understand the basics of how assessment even works. If you want to intelligently debate a policy, I’m all for that. But spreading stupidity is not what Republicans should be about.

Please make sure someone carries on the CFPB inquiry into billion+ dollar fraud related to Appraisal Management Company fees on mortgages. This was one of the “above zero” good things they were actually doing that aligns with the President’s agenda. Hire Dr. Mark Calabria to dig through it.

This needs a community note. The NFL officials in the background are all wearing white hats. In the NFL only the official designated as referee wears the white hat . It’s offensive to think the Chiefs would only bribe referees. Umpires, back judge, and side judges that wear black and striped color hats would also be bribed. Due to this glaring error, the allegations in this video are not credible. Also, everyone knows only the Falcons made a deal with the devil. As the song says, “the devil went down to Georgia”. Why else would you pay Kurt Cousins that kind of money?
