Finally I've been able to visit Budj Bim, Australia's newest World Heritage Site!
Here in southwestern Victoria, the Gunditjmara people used channels formed by a volcanic eruption to build an aquaculture system to farm eels 6,600 years ago.

A morning of museums in the city, an afternoon of hiking on the mountain, the perfect balance that makes Graz so special!

Haeinsa Temple, about an hour from the Korean city of Daegu, is set amongst a tranquil forest in the mountains.
But what makes it particularly special is the collection of 80,000 wooden tablets that have the entire text of the Tripitaka carved into them in Chinese characters!
Set within a tranquil forest, Dosan Seowon was a school founded in 1574 to study Confucianism, the philosophy that's guided Korean life for centuries.
There were once hundreds of them until they were shut down at the end of the 19th century... apart from a handful that survived.
A focus during my South Korean trip is the World Heritage Sites, and this is Hahoe Village near Andong.
It's preserved the architecture and traditions from the 15th century - and even with modern luxuries now, it's one of the few places you can get a sense of old rural life.
At the world's most militarised border, the tourist part of the DMZ feels a bit like a theme park. Selfie spots, restaurants, and a mini fairground!
Yet you can also go into an infiltration tunnel and use binoculars to look into North Korea. An interesting day trip from Seoul.
Near Seoul is Hwaseong Fortress in Suwon... or what remains of it, which is mostly its six-kilometre wall and defences.
The fortress was built by King Jeongjo in the 1790s to honour his father, Prince Sado, died eight days after his father (the king) locked him inside a box!!
Hello from Seoul!!
I've been in South Korea for the past couple of weeks, and wanted to start some photos with the Changdeokgung Palace in the heart of Seoul.
Originally built in the 15th century, it includes the large 'Secret Garden' (which can't be too secret if I found it!)
Our last episode got a bit emotional when Amy shared her struggles with anxiety. Who has struggled with their mental health whilst travelling?

On the bullet train line between Tokyo and Osaka, the city of Hamamatsu offers something a bit different from the usual tourist destinations in this part of Japan.

I didn't make it to many World Heritage Sites last year, but Ephesus was one of the best.
Founded 3000 years ago on Turkey's coast by Ancient Greeks, it became one of the largest cities of the Roman Empire - its Temple of Artemis was even one of the Seven Wonders of the World!
