On my way home after a wonderful @BaselOne. The slides from my talk “Keep your dependencies up to date with @renovatebot” are already available at https://t.co/mfx50M3yY6. Thanks for having me and all the good conversations.
If you visited my talk, “What? That's possible in #Java?” at @Devoxx last week or already watched the recording on YouTube (https://t.co/0fLd88U9sa), you can now also check out the examples on GitHub (https://t.co/HeD2eT2E5S).
@pablobbrenner @Pocket No. My current luck is that typically I'm not saving to pocket from my browser and therefore can live without any extension. But that's not a real solution...
@Pocket it seems the save to pocket extension for chrome is gone from chrome App Store. Any alternative for storing articles from chrome? Every article/help entry on your side still only points to that extension which can’t be installed any longer.
Recently, someone asked if I know companies that work within the core #java universe (like JDK vendors, tooling, no pure consulting) and are willing to hire people from Germany who can work from home. As I have no clue, please ping me if that matches your company.
If you're curious about #java and the #jdk ecosystem, you should attend https://t.co/NbMb6hhIVc. This is a @Java_Champions run online conference split over four days. Of course, everyone can attend for free, although you have to register in advance. Hope to “see” you there.
When building @springboot applications on JDK 21 or newer Compiler warnings are produced because Mockito is self-attaching to the JVM instead of being registered as an agent explicitly. Does anyone know if there are plans to address this within the parent POM or in any other way?
After upgrading to #SpringBoot 3.4 and using the new webjars-locator-lite our internal WebJar package wasn't working any more. I wrote a short post about why that happened and what you have to do to fix that: https://t.co/fBPCJaSRPh
@pedromsantos at our code kata session during this year's SoCraTes you showed some slides about hexagonal architecture. Can they be found somewhere online? I'm interested in the one showing the package differences between layers/hexagonal.
@bellsoftware I installed Liberica NIK via sdkman (23.1.4.r21-nik) which resulted in 23.1.4+1. When trying to build a spring boot native image, I stumbled upon https://t.co/FZRzmrQiTn Is this error known, and why didn't I get 23.1.4+3 when installing via sdkman?

@bmarwell Maybe it's because I'm old, but I, personally, could never be convinced why XML at that place is so bad that we need another alternative. Yes, it has some more syntax with tags, but I don't see that this reduces readability so much.
