So proud of my @DLDcollege GCSE Film students as they worked together as a team to build their own mind map in preparation to film their crime/horror movies for their coursework. They tried to include as much terminology as possible - what do you think makes an EXCITING movie?

Reflecting on a great week @DLDcollege, where our Film students are planning their first movie projects & our Media students have been learning about regulation within the industry, @BBCRadio4, @BritishVogue and @BigIssue. Enjoy your weekends everyone and see you on Monday! ✅

As #WorldBookDay comes to an end, I look forward to re-reading one of my favourite books. “Leading” by Sir Alex Ferguson with Michael Moritz. Such a big admirer of Sir Alex, what he’s achieved and how he managed to lead @ManUtd into one of the biggest organisations in the world!

I had a student ask for advice on employability in Film/TV:

⭕️ Learn as many skills as possible (outside of Film/TV too), get onto some courses with @Raindance /search for editing tutorials with @Apple, @Adobe or @Avid.

⭕️ Look at internships with @ITVCareers, @HBOcareers etc.
