Because Virginia Democrats didn’t follow the Virginia constitution. Process matters when it comes to amending the constitution of Virginia. And the Virginia Supreme Court ruled that you have to follow the process. I.e., the 1.3 million people that voted before the process started actually mattered.

Actually it’s because states have haven’t built generation so when supply is down and demand is growing you create higher prices. And to top it off many states like virginia have government regulated higher prices because they are in RGGI and there are entities who buy RGGI credits with the sole purpose of driving up cost

Loudoun County Superintendent Aaron Spence’s evaluation is coming up. He is one of the highest paid Superintendent’s in the country — if not the highest paid. Taxpayers pay him more than half a million dollars a year with salary, bonuses, and perks. And he’ll get a big pay raise and bonus again if the school board simply rates him proficient.
