“If God condemns homosexuality why did He create gay people?”

People say “how can you expect someone to change their identity? How can you call someone’s identity sinful?” Well the truth is, we all have to change our identity as a sinner… every single one of us, before we’re covered by the blood of Jesus, - has sin flowing our veins; seeking rebellion against God. And we must turn from our wicked selves and He is faithful to forgive us and sanctify us.

In the same way Christ expects someone with a homosexual desire to repent and fight this sinful desire, God expects a heterosexual with a desire to cheat on their spouse to fight this sinful desire.

God expects us to deny the flesh, to flee from all manner of sin.

Jesus went to the cross - to free you from the power of sin and death. To empower you, by the Holy Spirit, to be set free from the slavery of sin, and become a slave of Christ.

Paul says “What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body that is subject to death? Thanks be to God, who delivers me through Jesus Christ our Lord!” Romans 7

If you’re a Christian, don’t you ever subscribe to the idea that if you’re born that way, you’ll stay that way! You diminish the power of God’s spirit within, you make the cross meaningless and you tarnish the good news of the Gospel!

“BORN THIS WAY?” Jesus died so you can be BORN AGAIN.
