@webaim That’s really helpful actually! I did try using the Aria hidden attribute which prevents the screen readers from reading it but if that or another attribute like Role = “Presentation” might fit. Not sure about the standards just know we need something.

Is there a way to flag text as incidental so @webaim won't keep flagging insufficient color contrast? It's strictly a design accent and outside of converting it into a vector graphic, I'm out of ideas. #wcag #accessibledesign

Quickly realizing that if you really want a website to meet #WCAG guidelines for AA or AAA the only way is to build it mostly from scratch. I did a review of all the popular #Wordpress builders and even with all the addons available, there just isn’t enough control #accessibility
