@marklaslett_NZ I see from some tweets that this is a confirmed erector spinae tear. The Q comes back to mechanism of pain onset. How was the Dx confirmed and how prevalent is this injury???

@Retlouping Hmmmm.... Nerves can lose conduction and pressure sore can develop from normal 'posture' or positioning but back pain cannot be associated with it.... Sometimes I struggle with this....

@Retlouping Assuming only the supraspinatus and infraspinatus are affected, I would consider suprascapular neuropathy which can be associated with a range of conditions incl. PTS. Other differential include brachial plexopathy, Cx radiculopathy depending on any other neuro. findings..

@marklaslett_NZ @Retlouping @TDekkersPhysio Perhaps it's the selection of image but the post op trans. view seems to show a larger disc protrusion than the pre op one. Again there seems to be ample amount of CSF signal around the CE nerve in the pre op images.... Above my paygrade here re: correlation of image to CES.
