1,500 corflute requests and counting! Displaying one of these in your yard is one of the best ways you can help our election campaign. We don't have the $$$ for billboards and other paid advertising like the major parties - we depend on our supporters to get the message out.
Thanks to the 350+ legends who turned out in Footscray this afternoon for the first big doorknock of our state election campaign - aiming to knock on over 15,000 doors! Melbourne really turning on the charm weather-wise for once too. ✊️ ❤️
Excellent news. Without the GVT system it's likely there would already be a socialist MP in the upper house - elected from the Northern Metro region in 2022. And we're confident we can (at least) repeat that kind of result in the upcoming election. 🙌
Our 2026 state election manifesto is at the printers now. The first chance you'll have to grab a copy is at our campaign launch, taking place on Sat 1st August, 4pm at the Aboriginal Advancement League in Thornbury. Tickets are selling fast - get yours today via the link below.

This Saturday Michal and other VS members in Essendon will be meeting at 11am at Newmarket Station for a campaign day - letterboxing and door knocking, putting forward a socialist vision for Victoria, and countering the toxic politics of the far right. https://t.co/ynBZ5BSRPp

"We should expect better than this. We need more public services and public housing, not increased spending on police, prisons, defence or deportations."
Michal writes: "Our government criminalises poverty and Indigenous people and recently made it much easier to search and lock up young people. In a cost of living and housing crisis this means more people are penalised for the government’s failure to meet their basic needs."
Michal is a community lawyer whose daily work involves helping people stand up to police and other government authorities when they've been unfairly treated. She is also a supporter of Palestine and a trade unionist.
The Victorian state election will be held on Saturday 28th November. Victorian Socialists are running candidates across the state. Today, we're proud to introduce our candidate for Essendon, Michal Kedem.
How inspiring, 3 young voters coming into vote for the @vic_socialists because we are the only party that stands for the interests of the working class. They joined our campaign online to fight for a better world. #Vote1VicSocialists
