Hanna Radziejowska im Gespräch mit Deutschlandradio:
„Im deutschen Gedächtnis fehlt der 1. September 1939.

Zobaczcie nagranie.
Poland refused to take Muslim immigrants.
Poland was accused of "Islamophobia."
Today, Poland is safer than any country in Europe. Women are safe.
Poland has no rape gangs, pro-Hamas demonstrations, or a single case of Islamic terrorism.
Poland was right.
Poland 🇵🇱 is not a country
In fact, it’s two countries that fit into one
Most people only visit Warsaw and Krakow and mark Poland as done on the map
I cycled through 300 km of the Polish countryside and small towns and visited all of Poland’s main cities
The difference between the Poland of big cities and the Poland of small towns is staggering
The first already lives like people in other European capitals: you hear foreign speech, mostly English and Spanish, all the time; any kind of food gets delivered in 15 minutes; you have tech companies and modern services
The latter reminds me more of my childhood in provincial Russia: you still have street bazaars, small shops in the middle of nowhere, mostly older people on the streets (the young leave for better opportunities in bigger cities)
But mind you, this gap is closing at lightning speed
Even in provincial Poland, you have bike roads and excellent road quality overall
I saw Uber Eats drivers come to a burger place every 2 minutes in a town with fewer than 50k people
People are building awesome private houses that look more like American suburbs than what you’d expect from provincial Poland
Although small-town Poland is poorer than big-city Poland, it’s not less worth visiting. Maybe even more
The people are open and easy to chat up (although they look grumpy and don’t give you Western European/American smiles on the street)
You have insane landscapes and nature
And most importantly, you see in motion this economic beast that Poland is becoming
Countries like Austria or Germany solved the city/countryside gap years ago. Poland is solving it now, and probably faster than almost anybody in European history
The capital of Poland, Warsaw, on a Saturday night.
Safe, clean, relaxed.
This could've been London, Vienna, Paris....
But the powers that be, opted for DIEversity.
Last week, Czechs and Poles gave Russian propaganda the response it deserved: they told it to f*ck off. 🇨🇿🤝🇵🇱
We are stronger together. We must stand united and fight lies, manipulation, and disinformation even harder.
🚨🇵🇱 𝗪𝗢𝗝𝗖𝗜𝗘𝗖𝗛 𝗦𝗭𝗖𝗭Ę𝗦𝗡𝗬: 🗣️ “I’m glad we signed Dominik Livaković. He is a great goalkeeper, and now I have the best job in the world — I get paid to watch Barcelona games from the best position in the stadium.” 😂🔵🔴
Zobaczcie tę magię! Muzyka Chopina, szum Bałtyku i zachodzące słońce. 🌅🎹 Plaża w Juracie wypełniona w absolutnym skupieniu i zachwycie. Wyjątkowy koncert fortepianowy na scenie nad samym brzegiem morza.
Kiedy Czesi i Polacy trzymają się razem, jesteśmy silniejsi. Nie pozwólmy Rosji nas podzielić.

Když držíme Češi a Poláci spolu, jsme spolu silnější. Nenechme se Ruskem rozdělit

Poland is the most dangerous country in Europe. I realized this on my second night in Warsaw.
I was walking back home at 11 PM through a dark street.
A man in a hoodie was walking fast behind me.
In Germany, my instincts kicked in, I reached into my pocket, checked for exits, and prepared for trouble.
Suddenly he sprinted past me. He wasn't following me at all. He was running to catch a tram
I stood there feeling ridiculous.
In Germany, we’ve been conditioned to view public space with constant hyper-vigilance. Walking past train stations in Frankfurt, Berlin, or my hometown late at night isn't about enjoying the evening, it's about threat mitigation if you're not a 6'4 100kg Chad like me..
Public trust has broken down, enforcement is gone, and basic safety feels optional.
In Poland, the exterior can seem cold, but the social trust is ironclad. People don't perform fake customer-service smiles, but they respect public order, clean up after themselves, and protect their communities.
When my mumleft Poland in the 90s, Germany represented absolute safety and order.
Today, the roles have completely flipped.
If we do this, we BECOME:
1. The largest economy in Europe
2. The largest army in Europe
3. The biggest alcohol producer
4. The largest car manufacturer
5. The most respected country in Europe
6. The largest market for sausages
7. The largest problem for Russia
We are not afraid of the Poles. If we were afraid of the Poles, we would want Poland to be weak. On the contrary, most Czechs want to see a strong Poland, because we know that a strong Poland is a guarantee for a safe Czech Republic.
