Happy Independence Day to
- all the women who are independent
- all the honeys making money
- all the mamas who profit dollars
- all the ladies who truly feel me
Fire danger is abnormally high this holiday weekend.
URGING you to consider firework alternatives:
- screaming “bang! boom!” at the sky
- dropping a stack of large books on the floor
- wrapping a toga around a candle
- play America the Beautiful while combining Coke and Mentos
The most disorienting part of motherhood is the sheer amount of stress in my life. I am not even exaggerating when I say I can feel my life span actively being reduced. I feel the stress all over my body — in my jaws, my neck, my muscles. Everywhere, all the time. 🥲
had someone tell me this weekend that they’ve never seen someone as excited as me to be a mom. I truly wasn’t prepared for how much I’d love being a mom. 😫
after having the baby, I find my heart aching more for my mom. I see the life I get to live and every day, I’m reminded of the woman who gave up everything to give me everything, and I get it now.
not even to mention the trauma they endured to get to the USA? the trauma their parents endured and passed onto them? anyways, just a long way to say, I think a lot of our parents deserve empathy from us too.
